SUMMARY:Andrew Bellini: Anyone Can Hack IoT (Even Easier Now)
LOCATION:IoT Village\, Las Vegas Convention Center\, West Hall Level 1 Hall
  1\, Stage 3
DESCRIPTION:Anyone Can Hack IoT (Even Easier Now): A Beginner's Guide to AI
Augmented IoT Hacking\n\nA couple years ago I gave a talk here called "An
yone can hack IoT" and the message was simple: you don't need to be a hard
ware expert or have expensive gear to get started. That's still true\, but
now it's even easier and I want to show you why. Whether you saw the orig
inal talk or this is your first time thinking about IoT hacking\, I'll pic
k up where that one left off and show you how AI has actually changed what
I do day to day at my hardware bench. In this talk I'll show you what's a
ctually useful and what's not by walking through my real workflow. I'll sh
ow off a tool I built that lets AI agents help reverse engineer firmware r
ight in your browser\, along with some other hardware tools I've put toget
her to give AI direct access to devices under test on my bench. I'll cover
what's worth using AI for\, what's still better done by hand\, and how yo
u can start building your own AI assisted setup at home.\n\nIoT Village St
age 3 · 45 minutes · Beginner\nTalk is recorded and published to DEF CON
  media after the event.\n\nhttps://andrewbellini.com/defcon/#talk-sat-1145
